SAMANTHA ISLER
Date of Birth: October 26, 1998
Before traveling to New York City and being selected out of thousands of kids to appear on NBC's Today show as a kid reporter, Samantha Isler was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Her 2009 stint on the popular NBC program, which granted her on camera time on multiple occasions, paved the way to her first feature film role in the 2013 sports drama Home Run.
In 2013, Samantha also won a regular role on the comedy series Sean Saves the World, which starred Sean Hayes. She appeared in all 13 episodes of the show, playing Sean's spunky daughter.
Two years later, she landed a role in an episode of the fantasy drama series Supernatural.
In 2016, she won her biggest gig to date as eldest daughter Kielyr in the drama Captain Fantastic. The eccentric film starred Viggo Mortensen as her father.
Also in 2016, Samantha was cast in an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
Prior to working in TV and film, Samantha acted in several stage productions, including Annie, Oklahoma and Alice in Wonderland.
She was previously a pianist and competitive gymnast and still calls Tulsa home.
