Reneé Rapp was born in Huntersville, North Carolina. She attended Hopewell High School, then transferred to Northwest School of the Arts.
She started her acting career when she was cast as Wendla in a regional production of Spring Awakening (2018). Reneé continued in the theater until she landed the part of Regina George in the Broadway musical Mean Girls (2019) after turning down the role in a touring production.
She released her first EP called Everything to Everyone (2022) and went on a tour for the album with eight sold-out shows. Reneé released her debut studio album Snow Angel (2023) and is embarking on an international tour.
Reneé took the role of Regina George again in the film adaptation of Mean Girls (2024), but stated she wanted to focus on her music career. ~Mackenzie Heidrick
