REECE RITCHIE
Date of Birth: July 23, 1986
Born in England, Reece Ritchie wanted to be an actor from a very young age. He attended Benjamin Britten High School in Lowestoft before spending time with the National Youth Theatre. He appeared in several plays, including Mother Courage, at the Seagull Theatre. Later, he was spotted by a casting director, who was in the audience when Ritchie performed a monologue at the Soho Theatre in London.
The next week, he received a call from her asking him to audition for Roland Emmerich's new film, 10,000 BC. Ritchie won the part, and spent six months playing Moha in New Zealand and Africa.
By 2009, he appeared in two films that screened at the Toronto International Film FestivalThe Lovely Bones and Triage. His television credits include the telefilm Saddam's Tribe, and guest appearances on the British series The Bill and Silent Witness.
Ritchie has also filmed a role in Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time (2010) opposite Jake Gyllenhaal and Ben Kingley.
More recently, he starred in Desert Dancer(2015).
