RZA
Date of Birth: July 5, 1969
Leader and founder of the Grammy Award-winning rap group Wu-Tang Clan and one of the most influential producers in hip hop, Brooklyn-born RZA (real name Robert Fitzgerald Diggs) has been obsessed with martial arts movies since childhood.
He began acting with a small role in the 1999 film, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, and continued to take periodic breaks from his music, appearing in films such as American Gangster (2007), Funny People (2009), A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (2011) and G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013).
After he provided the score for Quentin Tarantino's movie Kill Bill, Quentin encouraged him to write his own movie. His obsession became a reality in 2010 when RZA began filming his directorial debut, the martial arts film The Man with the Iron Fists (2012), which he also co-wrote and starred in opposite Russell Crowe and Lucy Liu. He then starred in Brick Mansions (2014) alongside Paul Walker and played Shotgun Steve, a snarky hitman in the quirky comedy Mr. Right (2016). Most recently, RZA starred in Nobody (2021), a crime thriller opposite Bob Odenkirk.
RZA is married to model Talani Rabb, with whom he has a son. He also has children from his first marriage to Eboni Mills.
