OLIVIA MUNN
Date of Birth: July 3, 1980
Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City. Growing up, she moved back and forth between the military bases in the U.S. and Japan. She credits this nomadic lifestyle for developing her sense of humor. Olivia quickly learned that once you convince one “cool kid” to like you, the rest follow.
Olivia graduated with a journalism degree from the University of Oklahoma and moved to Los Angeles where she interned for Fox Sports Net, interviewing college football and women’s basketball players.
Though Olivia landed minor roles in the straight-to-DVD movie Scarecrow Gone Wild and the TV show Beyond the Break, it wasn’t until she landed a co-hosting gig on Attack of the Show! that Munn truly stood out. After the departure of Sarah Lane, the G4 network executives needed someone to help Kevin Pereira with the hosting duties. Olivia would fill that role until December 2010 when she left her G4 gig to become a correspondent for Jon Stewart’s Daily Show.
Since then Olivia has graduated to the big screen with roles in movies such as Iron Man 2 or Date Night. In 2011 she was cast as Momo Hahn, a supporting character in the film I Don't Know How She Does It.
In 2012, Olivia played Joanna opposite Channing Tatum in Magic Mike, a film that explores the world of male strippers. She followed that up with a starring role as Jen in Deliver Us From Evil (2014) and the role of Georgina in Mortdecai opposite Johnny Depp.
In 2016, she joined the X-Men cinematic universe playing Psylocke in X-Men: Apocalypse (2016), and appeared in the ensemble holiday comedy Office Christmas Party (2016) starring Jason Bateman and Jennifer Aniston. In 2017 she lent her voice to the animated film The LEGO NINJAGO Movie (2017).
Most recently, Olivia appeared in the sci-fi action movie The Predator (2018) alongside Boyd Holbrook and Sterling K. Brown.
