MOON BLOODGOOD
Date of Birth: September 20, 1975
Moon Bloodgood sounds like a stage name, but you may be surprised to find out her full legal name really is Korinna Moon Bloodgood. Born in Anaheim, California to an American father of Dutch and Irish descent and a South Korean mother, Bloodgood started her career as a model and a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Lakers. In 2002 she made her TV acting debut with a guest appearance on the NBC-TV sitcom Just Shoot Me!
More TV roles followed on shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, North Shore and Monk. On the big screen, she quickly moved from small roles such as playing "Gorgeous Woman" in Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! (2004), to the key role of Katie in Eight Below (2006) opposite Paul Walker.
In 2007, Bloodgood starred as Livia Beale in NBC's science-fiction series Journeyman. The show suffered from low ratings, and following the WGA Writer's Strike it was cancelled when the network chose not to order the second half of the first season. The setback didn't hurt her career however, as she quickly lined up starring roles in several motion pictures, including Terminator Salvation (2009) opposite Christian Bale.
