MONET MAZUR
Date of Birth: April 17, 1976
Born in Los Angeles and raised in Malibu, California, Monet Mazur made her big screen debut with a small role in Addams Family Values (1993). She then landed a regular role on the daytime soap opera Days of our Lives, originating the character Brandee Fields. After playing a part in the ABC TV movie Kansas, she filmed the straight-to-video Raging Angels (1995) alongside Diane Lane. Guest appearances on Party of Five led to bit parts in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (1997) and The Mod Squad (1999).
Her first substantial film role was in Blow (2001), starring Johnny Depp. Playing a pot-dealing flight attendant, Mazur caught the eye of Hollywood casting directors and began to land larger roles in major motion pictures. In Angel Eyes (2001), she played Jennifer Lopez's abused sister-in-law and in 40 Days and 40 Nights (2002), she was Josh Hartnett's seductive co-worker. Other credits include appearances on the TV shows Strange World and Jack & Jill, and the feature films Just Married (2003), Torque (2004) and Monster-in-Law (2005).
Musically inclined, Mazur also is a member of the punk band Nancy Raygun. In 2002, Monet won a Young Hollywood Award for New Stylemaker -- Female.
