MICHAEL TOLLIN

Best known in the film industry for his work as a producer, Tollin began his film career late in life at the age of 39. Beginning with the film The Show, he co-created and co-produced a number of kids' television shows including All That and Kenan & Kel. Always striving to create quality kid-oriented programming, he and partner Brian Robbins became founding board members of Children Now.
His work as a producer and part-time director has earned him three Emmy awards, as well as an Academy Award nomination and a Peabody Award for his documentary Hand Aaron: Chasing the Dream.
Continuing his producing talents into the new millennium with such films as Varsity Blues (1999), Ready to Rumble (2000), Hardball (2001) and television comedy series such as The Nightmare Room and Smallville, Tollin decided to make his directorial feature film debut with Summer Catch in 2001.
