LOGAN LERMAN
Date of Birth: January 19, 1992
Born and raised in Beverly Hills, California, Logan decided he wanted to become an actor after seeing a Jackie Chan movie when he was just two. His mother managed to secure an agent for the ambitious toddler and he quickly began earning a living in commercials.
At seven, Logan made his feature film debut playing Mel Gibson's youngest son in The Patriot (2000). Later that year, he played Gibson's character as a boy in What Women Want (2000). A small role in Penny Marshall's Riding in Cars with Boys (2001) was followed by the starring role in the CBS TV Hallmark Hall of Fame movie A Painted House (2003), based on the book by John Grisham. For his work in the telefilm, Logan won a 2004 Young Artist Award.
On the big screen, Logan played Ashton Kutcher's character at the age of seven in The Butterfly Effect before landing a starring role on the WB TV series Jack & Bobby (2004), playing Bobby, an extremely bright boy who would one day become the U.S. President. The show lasted only one season, but earned Logan a second Young Artist Award. Just as it became clear that the show wouldn't be renewed, Logan landed the starring role in the motion picture Hoot (2006), playing a new kid in town who fights to save a population of endangered owls.
Next, Logan played Jim Carrey's son in the thriller The Number 23 (2006) and the son of Christian Bale in 3:10 to Yuma (2007), also starring Russell Crowe. He then co-starred with Gerard Butler in the action flick Gamer (2009) before taking on the role of D'Artagnan in The Three Musketeers (2011) and the lead role of Charlie in the big screen adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). He starred in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013), in Noah alongside Russell Crowe and in Fury (2014). He can most recently be seen in the dramas Indignation (2016) and The Vanishing of Sidney Hall (2018). He also lent his voice to the animated family film, Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero (2018).
In his spare time, Logan enjoys playing soccer, baseball and tennis. He also likes spending time with his two dogs.
