LINDA KOZLOWSKI

Date of Birth: 1958

Born in Fairfield, Connecticut, Kozlowski aspired to be an actress from an early age and went straight into New York's prestigious Julliard school following high school. Graduating in 1981, she went on to perform in various stage productions across the country, including Requiem, Translations and How it All Began.

In 1984 she appeared with Dustin Hoffman in Death of a Salesman, a popular production filmed for television after first traveling from Chicago to Washington D.C., and finally, Broadway.

Her biggest break came a year later when she landed the starring role of Sue Charlton, a high-spirited and enterprising New York newspaper reporter in the blockbuster film Crocodile Dundee. The role earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy and won over the heart of her co-star Paul Hogan. The two were married shortly following the film's success.

Following up her role in the sequel, and her husband's Almost an Angel, she continued to work on various projects with little success. Village of the Damned promised great things with big names and director John Carpenter backing the project, but like the others, the film failed to garner much attention at the box office.

Hoping to start the new millennium off on a high note, she decided to return to the Dundee success to reprise her role as Sue for the third installment of the Australian phenomenon.
