LAUREN ANNE MILLER
Date of Birth: 1982
Originally from Long Island, Lauren Anne Miller moved to Lakeland, Florida at age eight. Interested in the arts from the very beginning, Miller graduated from the Harrison Center for the Performing and Visual Arts High School. It was while studying at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology that she began gearing her career towards acting rather than a career in fashion, deciding to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Florida State University's film school. While at FSU, Miller directed four short films, with two screening at film festivals around the country. She also participated in the making of 50 other short films, making her a well-rounded individual to have behind the scenes.
Miller then moved to Los Angeles to work as an assistant to Academy Award-winning producer Steve Starkey. She has had small parts in movies, including Superbad (2007) and 50/50 (2011) since starting her acting career and wrote two unproduced feature scripts for the now-defunct Fox Atomic, where she held a "New Writer's Deal."
Her first screenplay to be produced as a feature film was For a Good Time, Call... (2012), in which she stars alongside husband Seth Rogen and Justin Long.
On deck for Miller is another writing project, once again with Katie Anne Naylon—the pair worked together on writing For a Good Time, Call....
She married actor Seth Rogen in October 2011.
