KRISTEN WILSON

Kristen Wilson was born in Massachusetts, trained as a dancer, and performed with the Boston Ballet for four years. She received her BFA degree in musical theater from Syracuse University, which is where she started acting, taking time out in her junior year to play the role of Anita in a national tour of West Side Story.
Wilson counts two Spike Lee films, Girl 6 and Get on the Bus, among her feature film credits. She also appeared in Doctor Dolittle as Lisa Dolittle, a role she reprised in both sequels. In 2000, Wilson played the elf archer, Norda, in the fantasy film, Dungeons & Dragons, and landed a role in the comedy/drama, The Photographer.
Wilson has played recurring and regular roles on TV series such as Crossing Jordan, Matt Waters and The District.
She married film gaffer Michael Marzovilla in 1997, but they divorced soon after having a daughter together. Wilson married film makeup effects artist Martin Astles in 2000, with whom she has two children.
