KATHERINE MCNAMARA

Katherine McNamara is an actress, singer and songwriter. At the age of 13, before she got started in film and television, Katherine made her Broadway debut playing the role of Fredrika Armfeldt in A Little Night Music alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones. She continued to work in theater in productions such as A Christmas Story, the Musical!, To Kill a Mockingbird and Annie.
But Katherine didn’t stop her career from getting in the way of her education. She graduated from high school at 14 and when she was 17, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business with honors from Drexel University's Le Bow School of Business online program.
In 2011, she starred in the drama New Year’s Eve alongside Abigail Breslin. She also appeared as a guest on several TV shows, including Glee, 30 Rock and Drop Dead Diva.
Katherine can also be seen in Disney Channel's Girl Vs. Monster (2012) and as a recurring guest star on Jessie (2011).
In 2015, she played a supporting role in Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials. Currently she can be seen playing Clary Fray on the Netflix show Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments (2016).
Apart from acting, Katherine enjoys singing and songwriting. She is working on her music and plans to release a few original songs. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
