Jake Manley was born and raised in Oakville, a city near Toronto, Ontario. He attended and graduated from Catholic high school before going on to earn his first role in 2012 on the CW drama series Beauty and the Beast. Following his first role, Jake made more episodic appearances on the television series Cracked (2013), American Gothic (2016), and American Gods (2017). He earned his first recurring role on the superhero drama series Heroes Reborn in 2015.
Jake made his first film appearance in the romantic comedy Love, Rosie (2014) as an unnamed character. This exposure helped him earn larger roles in the years following, including the part of Derek in Seven in Heaven (2018) and Shane in A Dog’s Journey (2019). During this time, Jake also continued to make television appearances. He earned a recurring role on the supernatural crime drama iZombie in 2018, and it was announced he would star alongside Gage Monroe and Dylan Everett in the Canadian drama film Brotherhood (2019). Brotherhood received numerous accolades after it was released.
That same year, Jake was featured in Midway (2019), a war film starring Ed Skrein, Patrick Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and more. Most recently, Jake starred in Holidate (2020) alongside Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey. He also earned a main role on the horror drama series The Order, which ran for two seasons. Both Holidate and The Order were released on Netflix.
Jake is engaged to actress Jocelyn Hudon. The pair make their home in Los Angeles, California.
