HANNAH SPEARRITT

Born and raised in Great Yarmouth, England, Hannah Spearritt had a natural ability for sports while growing up and ran, swam and played tennis competitively at school. She was considering becoming a nurse, a professional tennis player, a teacher or a fitness instructor, but after appearing in a local production of the musical Annie, she decided she wanted to be a performer. At 13, she landed a role in the National Youth Music Theatre's production of Pendragon, and began appearing on television shows such as Blue Peter and The Cater Street Hangman. At the age of 18, she auditioned for the pop music group S Club 7. Spearritt was chosen and in June 1999, they released their first single, Bring it all Back. The members of the group also starred in several TV series and videos over the next few years, culminating in the feature film S Club Seeing Double (2003), in which Spearritt played herself.

After more than four years of pop stardom and playing herself in British productions, Hannah made her American film debut as Emily in the big budget sequel Agent Cody Banks 2: Destination London (2004), starring teen actor Frankie Muniz. She lives in London, England.
