ERIK WHITE
Erik White is the driving force behind many of today's most compelling and entertaining videos, working with established artists like Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, P. Diddy, Christina Aguilera, Fabolous and Ludacris, among others. He holds a record three BET Viewers Choice Video of the Year Awards as well as an MTV Best Male Video Award.
Born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and New Jersey, White graduated from CMA in New York with a degree in sound engineering and became a highly sought-after mixer in the city. In 1997, he visited his uncle, rap video top dog Hype Williams, on the set of a video shoot and subsequently was asked to do second unit work on Hype's videos.
White has appeared on MTV, BET and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He was also a speaker on a panel at the CMJ music conference alongside the heads of MTV and BET, discussing the state of music video. He made his feature film debut directing Lottery Ticket, starring Bow wow.
