Emma Myers was born in Orlando, Florida to Nicole and Jeremy Myers. She is the second oldest of four siblings and was part of a homeschool co-op, which limited her opportunities to interact with her peers. She has stated that she never had a traditional school experience.

Emma made her acting debut in 2010 with a background role in Letters to God and the small part of Paige Slayton in an episode of The Glades. She also appeared in the TV movie A Taste of Christmas.

The next year, she appeared in Southern Gospel (2023) and the Netflix comedy film Family Switch (2023) with Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, and Rita Moreno.

In 2024, she starred as the lead character in the television adaptation of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. To prepare for the role, Emma learned the British accent in two weeks.

In 2025, she starred in A Minecraft Movie with Jack Black, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, and Jennifer Coolidge. She is also set to reprise her role as Enid Sinclair in the second season of Wednesday.

Growing up homeschooled, Emma became very active in online fandoms. It started with The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, which shaped the way she saw the world. Those fandoms grew to include video games, music, and anime.
