DANNY MCBRIDE
Date of Birth: December 29, 1976
Born in Statesboro, Georgia, Danny McBride first gained attention with a starring role in All the Real Girls, winner of the 2003 Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.
McBride attended the North Carolina School of the Arts, where he received a BFA in filmmaking. He teamed with two former classmates from NCSA to create the 2006 Sundance hit comedy The Foot Fist Way, which he co-wrote with the director, Jody Hill, and also starred in.
From there, his career has blossomed with roles in major feature films such as Drillbit Taylor (2008) opposite Owen Wilson, Tropic Thunder (2008) with Ben Stiller, Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell and providing a voice for the animated feature Despicable Me (2010). Most recently, he starred in Aloha (2015), lent his voice to Sausage Party (2016) and The Angry Birds Movie (2016), and acted in Ridley Scott's sci-fi thriller Alien: Covenant (2017).
