Cory Hardict was born in Chicago, Illinois and began acting on television first before making the transition to film. He appeared in brief stints on Smart Guy, Felicity, Once and Again and ER before landing his first big film role in Never Been Kissed (1999). He followed up with several more films, including Crazy/Beautiful (2001), Driftwood (2006) and He’s Just Not That into You (2009).

Cory had a recurring role on the ABC series Lincoln Heights as Luc Bisgaier from 2007 to 2008. He continued appearing on TV and in movies, eventually earning his biggest role to date opposite Bradley Cooper in the biographical war drama American Sniper (2014).

In 2008, Cory married actress Tia Mowry, with whom he shares a son. He credits attending Catholic school for teaching him the power of prayer early on in life.

Most recently, Cory appeared as Hanson alongside Nicolas Cage in 211 (2018), the true story of one of the bloodiest bank heists in police history. ~Caitlyn Clancey
