BRIANA EVIGAN
Date of Birth: October 23, 1986
Briana Evigan comes from a showbusiness family. Her father is Greg Evigan, who has, along with many other credits, starred in two hit TV series, BJ and the Bear (before she was born) and My Two Dads (when she was a baby). Her mother is actress Pam Serpe.
Briana started dancing at seven with renowned hip-hop choreographer Shane Sparks and moved on to study many other forms of dance over the years, which came in handy when she got her first lead role in a major motion picture in Step Up 2 the Streets (2008).
Prior to that, she appeared in several music videos and played a small role in the independent film Bottoms Up (2006). Her feature debut was in House of the Damned (1996), playing her real-life father's daughter.
Most recently, Briana returned to the popular Step Up franchise for Step Up All In (2014).
Briana is also the keyboardist and lead vocalist for the rock band Moorish Idol. She lives in Los Angeles.
