ASHLEY BENSON

Ashley Victoria Benson is an actress and model. Born and raised in California, Benson started dancing competitively in jazz, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical at the age of four. The following year she began modeling for dance catalogs and when she was eight, Ford Modeling Agency pursued her. Since then she has worked steadily in print.
In 1999, Ashley decided she wanted to pursue acting. She was first cast in numerous commercials, but quickly transitioned into television and film. She began with minor roles on television series such as The West Wing, Zoey 101, The O.C. and 7th Heaven. However, in 2004, she signed a three-year contract with Days of Our Lives, playing Abbey Deveraux. This was her first main role on a television series. Ashley’s other notable television roles include Mia Torcoletti on ABC’s Eastwick and Hanna Marin on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars.
When Ashley was just 15, she made her film debut in 13 Going on 30 (2004), starring Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo, playing a minor role as one of the "Six Chicks." In her next film, the straight-to-DVD movie Bring It On: In It to Win It (2007), Ashley played her first lead role. Though she had to terminate her contract with Days of Our Lives to do the film, she had no regrets, saying, “I am definitely thankful I got to be on a soap opera... But getting off the soap opera helped me a lot too, because I can move on to bigger and better things.”
The next year, Ashley was cast in another main role in Bart Got a Room (2008) with Steven Kaplan, William H. Macy, and Cheryl Hines. The film appeared in many film festivals before being released in 2009.In addition to acting, Ashley continues to model. Among her many modeling credits is a photo shoot for Vogue with Britney Spears. Ashley has also made cameo appearances in music videos such as "That Girl" by NLT, "BlackLight" by One Call, and "Honestly" by Hot Chelle Rae.
Ashley also played Brit in the comedy drama Spring Breakers (2013), alongside James Franco, Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens. Since then she has played Lady Lisa in Pixels (2015) and has completed a role in the upcoming feature film Elvis & Nixon (2016).
