Shortly afterwards, she landed a starring role as Daphne, the youngest (and oddest) member of the Diaz family, on the Disney Channel series Stuck in the Middle, which enjoyed a three-season run from 2016 to 2018. During that time, Ariana also made her motion picture debut in A Bad Moms Christmas (2017) and played Young Gamora in the blockbuster film Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
In 2018, she was cast in a lead role as Julia in the Disney film The One and Only Ivan (2020), then played Minnow in Paramount Picture's post-apocalyptic adventure, Love and Monsters (2020) opposite Michael Rooker and Dylan O'Brien. She has also completed a role as Young Nina in the musical movie In the Heights, based on the Broadway musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Quiara Alegría Hudes. She appears as Matilda (the daughter of Gina Rodriguez's character) in the Netflix sci-fi thriller Awake (2021) and voices Tabitha in The Boss Baby: Family Business (2021).
Upcoming productions for Ariana include a starring role opposite Adam Driver in Sony Pictures Entertainment's sci-fi thriller 65 and a role as Tiny Tina, an unstable 13-year-old explosives expert in Lionsgate's Borderlands, alongside Cate Blanchett and Kevin Hart.
In 2019, Ariana was named "One To Watch" by The Hollywood Reporter on their Young Hollywood list.
