ARIA WALLACE
Date of Birth: November 3, 1996
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Aria Wallace was just a toddler when she told her mother she wanted to be a superstar. Alison, her mom, took her seriously, especially when the little girl began memorizing lines from her favorite movies, such as The Parent Trap and The Fox and the Hound. Aria was enrolled in acting classes and signed with a local agency.
Early in 2002, the Wallace family went to Los Angeles for a visit so Aria could audition for the upcoming TV season. She immediately landed a guest shot on The Bernie Mac Show. TV commercials and print work followed, and after three months, they decided to settle down in Los Angeles permanently, even though her father Richard's business was back in Atlanta.
It was a risk that paid off a little more than a year later, when Aria began to work steadily with guest appearances on TV shows such as Charmed, Carnivale, That '70s Show and Judging Amy. In 2004, she won her first movie role, playing Hilary Duff's little sister in The Perfect Man (2005).
Since then, she has appeared on Desperate Housewives, for which she had to learn sign language to play the daughter of a deaf woman. In 2005 she filmed an untitled TV series pilot directed by Brett Ratner, but unfortunately, it was not picked up for the fall season. Aria lives with her younger sister Daylia, also an actress, and their mother. Their father travels back and forth between Los Angeles and Georgia.
In her spare time, Aria enjoys swimming, riding her bike, horseback riding and playing piano. She takes ballet, tap, jazz and singing lessons. She would like to continue to act as she gets older, but would also like to sing, write, produce and direct.
