ANNABELLA SCIORRA

Date of Birth: March 24, 1964

This Connecticut born actress was raised in New York City and began her acting studies at 13 at the HB Studio. Later she studied full time at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She first attracted attention in the independent film True Love (1989), when she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead. Supporting roles in major studio projects followed, including Cadillac Man (1990), The Hand That Rocks the Cradle (1992) and Romeo Is Bleeding (1993). In 2001 she was nominated for an Emmy for her guest appearance as Gloria Trillo in the hit HBO series The Sopranos and later landed the regular role of Judge Kim Vicidomini in the CBS-TV series Queens Supreme (2003). She continues to work in features as well, including a supporting roles in Chasing Liberty (2004), starring Mandy Moore and in Find Me Guilty (2006) starring Vin Diesel.
