AIDEN LONGWORTH
Date of Birth: August 7, 2004
The artistically inclined Aiden Longworth, whose star power is burning brighter with every role he takes, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia.
He won his first onscreen part as a homeless boy in the DVD release A Christmas Story 2, and followed that up with two minor parts in television. He appeared in an episode of Supernatural in 2013 and an episode of The Tomorrow People in 2014.
Aiden made his feature film debut with the 2014 thriller Cut Bank, which starred Bruce Dern, John Malkovich, Teresa Palmer, Liam Hemsworth and Billy Bob Thornton. In the same year, he also won a small part in the comedy Hector and the Search for Happiness, which was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award. It starred Simon Pegg, Rosamund Pike and Christopher Plummer.
He went back to television in 2015, appearing in an episode of The Returned. In 2016, he played a minor role in one episode of The X-Files.
Aiden stayed in the sci-fi realm with his next project, working on the Canadian film The Unseen in 2016.
His biggest role to date is the title character in The 9th Life of Louis Drax, a mystery-thriller with Jamie Dornan, Sarah Gadon, Aaron Paul and Molly Parker. The film is based on a novel by Liz Jensen and is about a boy's mysterious, near-fatal fall that when investigated, unearths a highly unusual, and questionable, past. During a promotional interview for the film, Aiden revealed that his biggest challenge while filming was learning to cry on command. He also added that the film is "cool" because the sets are amazing (even the "creepy hospitals").
Aiden has one older brother Rowan and one younger sister Hannah, both of whom also act. Rowan has worked on Fringe, The Killing and Wayward Pines, while Hannah has appeared in Supernatural, Once Upon a Time and Hector and the Search for Happiness. All three Longworth siblings acted in The X-Files.
When he's not acting, Aiden can either be found eating apples or tomatoes (his favorite foods), or playing with his Yorkie Pom Yoshi.
He resides in Vancouver, B.C. with his family.
