ADRIAN GRENIER
Date of Birth: July 10, 1976
Born in New Mexico, Adrian Grenier was raised in New York City by his mother, real estate agent Karesse Grenier. His parents met on a commune, but split up shortly after Adrian was born and Adrian didn't meet his father, John Dunbar, until many years later, when he went looking for him.
Adrian studied performing arts at several, including Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Bard College and Fieldston Summer Performing Arts Institute.
A musician as well as an actor, he plays piano, guitar and drums. He also sings, and is the former lead singer of a band called Kid Friendly.
Although he started his onscreen career with small roles in movies such as Hurricane Streets (1997), directed by Morgan Freeman), by 1998 Adrian was playing the title role in Paramount Classics' The Adventures of Sebastian Cole, which enjoyed a limited release in the United States.
However, it was his lead role in the HBO hit series Entourage that brought him fame. It ran from 2004 to 2011 and was brought back as a feature film in 2015.
Adrian has also directed two feature length documentaries. The first one, Shot in the Dark (2002), was about his attempt to locate his father, while the second, Teenage Paparazzo (2010), focused on the world of celebrity photographers, featuring one in particular - 14-year-old paparazzo Austin Visschedyk. The film won the Audience Choice Award at the New Hampshire Film Festival.
