The heart-breaking story of Mamie Till-Mobley (Danielle Deadwyler), who in 1955 sends her 14-year-old son, Emmett Louis Till (Jalyn Hall), on vacation in Money, Mississippi to visit his cousins. When his actions towards a white woman are misinterpreted, he's kidnapped, beaten and murdered.
Mamie Till-Mobley's pursuit of justice for her son became a galvanizing moment that helped lead to the creation of the Civil Rights movement.
