The Exception

In this adaptation of Alan Judd’s novel The Kaiser’s Last Kiss, this drama tells the story of the last German Kaiser, Wilhelm II (Christopher Plummer), who was exiled in the Dutch countryside for 25 years. When the Nazis invade Holland, German officer Capt. Stefan Brandt (Jai Courtney) is sent to determine if the Dutch resistance has planted a spy to infiltrate the home of the Kaiser, but he falls for a young Jewish Dutch woman during his investigation.
