Prince Du Pacifique, Le

A French navy ship lands at a tropical island in 1918. Its captain, Alfred de Morsac (Lhermitte), has been sent on a mission to enroll a battalion of native Marines. Once on land, he confronts Lefebvre (Berléand), who leads an ancient warrior tribe. After befriending a child, and prince of the island, Morsac is soon forced to escape the island with a con artist. These two mismatched sea mates must overcome their differences in order to survive the perils of the sea.
