Quebecois filmmaker, writer and polemicist Pierre Falardeau passed away September 25, 2009. Through archival documents, excerpts from his films and interviews with his girlfriend Manon Leriche, his producer Bernadette Payeur, former FLQ Francis Simard and actor Luc Picard, co-directors German Gutierrez and Carmen Garcia try to account for the life and work of this cultivated but outspoken artist, who often felt muzzled by the censorship of funding organizations, but continued to pursue and share his great dream: the independence of the Quebec nation.
