Since adolescence, Alice has been obsessed with director Woody Allen and his films. So much so that she has imaginary conversations with him in her room, where she has a huge poster of the filmmaker on her wall. While her family insists she should try to find a husband, the charming 30-year-old, who works with her pharmacist father, pushes away any possible romantic interests. She meets Victor, a handsome but cynical man who has never seen a Woody Allen film. Victor is interested in Alice, but she avoids his advances, even going so far as to date another man.
