Using the pseudonym Mélina, Claire Martin is the host of a popular radio talk show in Paris that deals with emotional and sexual problems. Although everyone knows her voice, no one knows what she looks like. A germophobe in her 40s, Claire, who is single, has virtually no social life. She hires a private detective to find her biological mother, Joelle Goulain, who gave her up for adoption shortly after her birth. It turns out Joelle, who has a house in a shabby neighborhood, lives with her daughter and her step-grandson, Lucas. Things get complicated when Lucas, an aspiring photographer, falls in love with Claire.
