Odette toulemonde
Since the death of her cherished husband ten years ago, Odette Toulemonde, a woman in her forties who works during the day at one job and evenings at another, has singlehandedly raised her son Rudy, a gay hairdresser, and her daughter Sue Helen, who’s going through an awkward teenage phase.
Even though Odette really has nothing to be happy about, she is. And she dreams of meeting her favorite author Balthazar Balsan, to whom she believes she owes her optimism. The rich and charming Parisian writer then turns up in her life in an unexpected way.
