James M. Cain's classic story from his 1941 novel of the same name is dramatically brought to life in this five-part HBO miniseries.
Mildred Pierce (Kate Winslet), a young mother of two girls, makes the bold decision to throw her husband out in the midst of the Great Depression. Left with the sole responsibility of supporting her young family, she searches for work while trying to deal with the indolent men in her life and struggling to salvage her already strained relationship with her eldest daughter.
Mildred quickly learns that having it all could very well cost her everything. Also available in a Collector's Edition.
