Suzanne (Jo Deseure), the dynamic director of a contemporary art center in Brussels, begins to experience memory loss. She also gives in to frantic whims and expresses herself in an increasingly incomprehensible way. When she’s diagnosed with semantic dementia, her son Alex (Jean Le Peltier) and his wife Noémie (Lucie Debay) hire a relative to take care of her full-time. But it just isn’t enough. Alex suggests to Noémie that they postpone their plan to buy a house and start a family until later, so that he can watch over his mother himself. In doing so, he jeopardizes his marriage.
