Solange (Leclercq) is a timid fifteen year old girl who lives in a small provincial French town studying hairdressing at college. She's befriended by Gary (Sapim), an sassy, insolent, streetwise girl who draws her into her clique. In order to fit in with her new friends, Solange sets out on a difficult journey into adulthood.
