Le missionnaire

After seven years in prison, Mario Diccara is released early due to good behavior. Unfortunately, his former accomplices still have a score to settle with him, because Mario has in his possession a suitcase full of jewelry. Mario asks his brother Patrick, a pastor, to help him hide from them. Patrick sends him to a remote village in Ardèche to stay with Father Stephen. Upon arrival, Mario, disguised in a cassock, finds out Stephen has just died. When he realizes the villagers believe him to be their new pastor, he decides to play along.
