La Sacrée

François, a professional con artist hoping to marry a rich heiress who wants children, is devastated to find he's infertile. Desperate, he returns to his Ontario hometown, Fort-Aimable, hoping that his recently deceased uncle has left him a substantial inheritance. But instead, François has inherited an old barn. Martine, a restaurateur, convinces François to help the local economy by reviving and marketing La Sacrée, a beer once brewed in Fort-Aimable. Discovering by chance that La Sacrée caused a rise in births, François thinks the beer may provide a cure for infertility, as long as the original recipe can be replicated. But Angelica, the brewer, who also happens to be his former lover, is unable to identify the last ingredient of the mixture.
