During the Chechen War, the staff of a hospital split up their psychiatric patients to move them to a safer place. When soldiers take over the asylum, a young female patient (Vysotskaya) falls in love with soldier (Islamov), even though she already has a boyfriend, Bryan Adams (playing himself).
