His House (Netflix)

Bol (Sope Dirisu) and Rial Majur (Wunmi Mosaku) are a refugee couple who have recently escaped war-torn South Sudan and have made their way to England. However, their escape came with a cost, as the couple lost their daughter during the journey across the Mediterranean. Upon their arrival in England, the couple are relocated to a small town to begin their new lives. While Bol is excited for the fresh start in this new land, Rial has her reservations about this new home they've been given. For Rial, this house is not really theirs, even as Bol does his best to get them to adjust to their new surroundings and make this place their home.

But there appears to be something darker and sinister lurking in the shadows beneath their new house. This entity begins to haunt the couple as it soon becomes apparent that they harbor a dark secret preventing them from truly moving on from the horrors of their past.
