300-pound Ken (Rodriguez)suffers from diabetes, hypertension, and wears a respiratory mask to bed to alleviate his apnea. He's prone to fits of rage and bouts of severe depression, and is given to "eating his feelings," a cycle of guilty binging triggered by grief at the death of his mother a year before, and being dumped by his girlfriend a while later. His great sense of humor is what endears him to Audrey (Ashley Lauren), a friend of his best friend Terry (Jason Dugre). They willingly offer him support to change his lifestyle.
