This comedy follows Laura Cadieux (Reno) who is both obsessed and depressed about her weight. While waiting for her weekly weight-reduction shots she meets a variety of people who share her problem. Meanwhile, her best friend, Madame Therrien is searching the city for her son not knowing that he is safely with Laura.
