All About My Mother

Manuela (Cecilia Roth) suffers after her son, Esteban, dies in a car accident on his 17th birthday. After reading the last entry in his journal about how he wishes to meet his father for the first time, she decides to travel to Barcelona in search of the boy's father. She must tell the father that not only did she have their son after she left him many years ago, but that he has now died. Once there, she encounters a number of odd characters including a transvestite prostitute, a pregnant nun and a lesbian actress who help to support her emotional pain.
