With a degree in literature and philosophy, Alice arrives in Lyon to begin her new job at the town hall. But on her first day at work, she’s told that her position has been terminated. Although she has no political experience, she’s given with a new task: to offer ideas to the socialist mayor, Paul Théraneau, who is having a dry spell in regards to inspiration and motivation. From municipal councils to speeches, heated debates and confrontations of ideas, their relationship evolves and turns into a beautiful friendship that will change their way of thinking about life, politics and their professional future.
