Adrift in Tokyo

Takemura is a student with a large debt. He gets a visit from Fukuhara, a loan collector who roughs him up and tells him he has three days to pay his debt, or else. Just before the time is up, Fukuhara returns to visit the young man and offers to erase his debt if the young man will accompany him on a walk through the streets of Tokyo. Perplexed, but without any other option, Takemura accepts the proposal. During the walk, Fukuhara confesses murdering his wife.
