Emily (Jessica Hynes) and Simon (David Tennant), the parents of a young daughter with severe learning disabilities, slowly begin to realize how many challenges they — and their young son — have to face.

As they struggle to stay positive, the reality of dealing with a child with so many problems puts a rift in their marriage.
