When Seattle mayor Margot Cleary-Lopez (Toni Collette) and her husband Rob Lopez (John Leguizamo) discover their teenage daughter Jos (Auli'i Cravalho) has the power to release electrical jolts from her fingers, they struggle how to advise her.
