The Broadway Melody (1929)

Queenie and Hank are a vaudeville act, who come to Broadway to be in a show organised by their friend Eddie. Eddie was in love with Hank, but when he meets Queenie, he falls for her instead. Meanwhile, Queenie is being courted by a society cad, and while she is enamoured of him, she remains blind to Eddie's feelings.
