The Adversary

To his family and friends, Jean-Marc Faure is a brilliant doctor. In reality, this man has been living a lie for many years: he never passed his doctor’s exams and has not been employed for 18 years. He supports his family by slowly emptying his parents’ retirement funds. Each day, Jean-Marc gets into his car and pretends to go to work. But he spends his days doing nothing, sitting in his car at the side of a road or at table in a cafeteria. But when he realizes his lies may become exposed, he makes a fateful decision.
