Opus

Ariel (Ayo Edebiri) is a young writer who is tired of her boss, Stan (Murray Bartlett), assigning all her good pitches to the more senior writers. This all changes when she is unexpectedly invited to the compound of the legendary pop star, Alfred Moretti (John Malkovich), who mysteriously disappeared 30 years ago.

When she arrives at the compound, Ariel notices that the number of sycophants and intoxicated journalists closely resembles a cult that just so happens to have some deadly plans for their guests. The more time Ariel spends in the compound, the deeper and more intertwined she gets with its dark and twisted secrets.
